Our Trip to Denver!
This past November, our team packed up and headed out west to the great state of Colorado for a week of filming and relaxation via the cheapest flights possible (Thanks Frontier!). While our trip was brief, we did a ton; we packed as much exploration as possible including a trek up through the Rockies and down through the Garden of the Gods to make a short film soon to be released.
Aside from taking in the beautiful sights, we roamed around one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods—Five Points, Denver—where our AirBnB was nestled. If you’re visiting Denver, make sure to check out their abundant variety of delicious restaurants.Snooze an A.M. Eatery has just about the best pancakes you’ve ever stuffed in your mouth.
The Five Points area was incredibly accessible by foot or bicycle; the latter have their own lane splitting traffic. A little scary at first, but definitely something Atlanta should take notes on.
When we got thirsty, there was no shortage of pubs within walking distance. We rounded out our last night with drinks and karaoke at Star Bar on Larimer Street. John-Paul shut down the bar after a flawless performance of his go-to track, F**k Her Gently” by Tenacious D. Unfortunately this was not captured on video, but we’ll make sure to have the cameras rolling the next time he’s got a wild hair for vulgar sing-alongs.
Denver, we’ll see you again real soon.
