Problem: Smart cards, aka electronic wallets, have been a concept for a while now, especially popular through crowdfunding campaigns. Unfortunately the majority of these campaigns were funded, but never delivered. When BrilliantTS decided to bring their very real and tangible Fuze Card to market, they faced a lot of outspoken skepticism from potential crowdfunders.
Solution: Carbon Film developed a concept that blended the traditional Kickstarter info-narrative with a ‘Vlog’ aesthetic, to help ensure its audience that the card existed and worked at a number of retail stores and restaurants during the main characters’ vacation in historic Savannah, Georgia.
Results: With three weeks left in its ongoing campaign, the Fuze Card has raised over 650 thousand dollars, 1264% of its initial goal.
